About Me
Jennifer L. Barr MSN, RN, CLNC
Owner / Certified Legal Nurse Consultant
I graduated from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse and then started my career in a nursing home as a charge nurse. I went on to become a nursing supervisor in a 360-bed nursing home. I transitioned to a trauma center working as a staff nurse and per diem charge nurse in ICU-stepdown units with medical-surgical patients including cardiology. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kutztown University and obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. I became a Certified Diabetes Educator and provided diabetes-related education and training to adults in an endocrinology clinic. I worked as an independent contractor with insulin pump and disposable insulin delivery device companies to provide patients training on their devices. I functioned as a remote care manager to Medicare Advantage members for a large health insurance company. In addition, I have researched and published clinical issues as it relates to nurses in nationally recognized nursing journals.
I became nationally certified as a CLNC through the Vicki Milazzo Institute and acquired a wealth of knowledge to provide services that can help attorneys, insurance companies and anyone who deals with health, illness or injury. As the owner and founder of Barr Legal Nurse Consulting, I provide many services to make clients jobs easier, more efficient and more effective. I am a member of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, American Nurses Association, Florida Nurses Association, and American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.
